Chicago Vedic Sanskriti School Terms and Conditions

Chicago Vedic Sanskriti School (VSS) aim is to introduce ethics/morality, Vedic values, culture and Hindi to students. Parents are requested to follow through with this learning at home and encourage children to apply these lessons in their daily lives.

• Attendance Policy: Classes will be held on-site at Aryasamaj of Chicagoland premises.
• Registration: All parents must complete the registration form before children can begin classes.  Refunds are not entertained once school begins – if for any reason, your child can not attend classes or they have to withdraw from the session, please consider the fees a donation to the not-for-profit charitable organization.
• On-site Students: Please arrive 5 minutes early and drop off children in the classroom to help us run the classes efficiently. Parents will need to provide email confirmation at the beginning of the school year on the individuals authorized to drop off and pick up children for the Vedic Sanskriti School.  Pickup is between 12:50- 1PM.  Please sign in and sign out in the Attendance Book to ensure the safety of your child and other children.

• Remote Students: Please join the Zoom session on time, ensure the student has a good internet connection, and a quiet place to join the class. Children will login with their full names visible. Parents agree not to share the zoom links with anyone for safety reasons and to avoid interruptions.
  
• Textbooks/Resources: School will provide curriculum material, information on holidays, class schedule and instructions for crafts and activities.
  
• Media Release: Photographs and video taken of the students and their work may be published for informational, promotional and marketing purposes only. Please let us know if you do not want your child in photographs or video to be made public.
  
• Dietary Restrictions and Allergies: Please inform us if your child has any dietary restrictions or allergies via email at vss@aryasamajchicago.com.
• Children are required to maintain silence and discipline in the school. Please help us maintain this rule for the smooth functioning of the school.
• Children should not be removed from school premises while in session or without email confirmation to teachers in advance of the class.
• In case of any specific issues or concerns, you are requested to contact teachers via email at vss@aryasamajchicago.com.

Spirit of Service for All – Join to Learn and Serve: We all come here to learn and should join with the spirit to serve. Parents are requested to sponsor one Havan during the school year and invite family and friends to participate. Help to clean after the Havan. Organize classrooms and keep the cafeteria clean.  Take all of your belongings with you and keep the premises neat and tidy. If something is wrong somewhere try to correct it or report to the teachers. Remember blessed are those who serve. Vedic Sanskriti School is our school and we must keep it neat, clean and tidy.
