We are honored that you’ve chosen to sponsor a Havan and share your special occasion with our Arya Samaj family. To ensure that everything flows smoothly, please follow the guidelines below:
Event Guidelines:
- Sunday Havan can be sponsored for most occasions except Shok Sabha.
- Shok Sabha (Condolence Gatherings) can be arranged on a different day or time.
Program Participation:
Sponsors may request 10–15 minutes during the Sunday program to:
- Sing a bhajan
- Say a few words
- Introduce family members
This time will be allotted toward the end of the regular program.
Food and Kitchen Guidelines
Please coordinate with our kitchen team, keeping in mind they are volunteers.
- Food plans are based on estimated attendance.
- If you’re expecting 25+ personal guests, please order and pay for food from outside.
- Sponsor family is requested to:
- Plan your menu with kitchen team two weeks prior to sponsor date.
- If food is being catered completely or partially, please advise kitchen team of food coming from outside.
- Help serve the food.
- Assist with post event cleanup.

Lunch Information:
The Sunday Havan sponsorship cost is $501.00. This will include lunch for up to 25 guests.
Lunch will include one dal, one vegetable, rice, roti, halwa and tea. Paper plates, spoons, napkins, hot cups for tea, cold cups for water will also be provided.
Sponsor will need to provide Paneer, tortillas (Puris) or equivalent cost if they want either or both items cooked in Samaj kitchen.
If additional food items are required the sponsor is responsible for bringing them.
A sponsor is welcome to bring vegetarian catered food or food cooked at home.
