Acharya Hari Prasad info:
Acharya Hari Prasad Kotta joined the Arya Samaj family in April 2017 from New Delhi, India along with his wife Lalita ji and son Arush . Originally from Hyderabad, Acharya Hari Prasad is a fully qualified Arya Samaj priest who has completed 5 years of religious training at Panini Mahavidyalya in Sonepat, India. He completed his Acharya degree in Sanskrit and is fully fluent in Hindi, Telegu and Sanskrit. He has conducted thousands of havans and hundreds of hindu ceremonies including weddings, deaths, births, across India and internationally. His ability to give talks on the Vedas in Hindi and English and connect with audiences of different ages make him a special edition to the Arya Samaj of Chicagoland community and enable us to connect and include families and the younger generation.
Ramesh Malhan info:
Ramesh Malhanji comes from a family of spiritual, progressive leaders. He has been actively involved with Hindu Satsang, Hari Om Mandir and Arya Samaj of Chicagoland for several decades. He served as Secretary of Arya Samaj of Chicagoland, President of Hindu Society of Chicago, General Secretary of Hindu Satsang and Secretary of UPA (United Punjabis of America). He is sought after by members of the community to perform havan and spends his free time to spread awareness on Hinduism, Arya Samaj and the Vedic mantras across the Chicagoland area. He has conducted hundreds of havans and religious ceremonies and devotes his free time to spreading the message of peace, tolerance and spirituality to old and young. He is married to Shubh Lata with whom he has two children and five grandchildren.
Mukund Panchal info:
Mukund Panchalji graduated from the MS University Baroda, Gujarat with a Bachelor of Arts in Materials Management. He immigrated to the US in 1998 and has been settled with his family in the Chicagoland area for over 20 years. Since September 2007, when he first met with Dr. Sukhdev Soni, he has been actively coming to the Arya Samaj. In childhood, he grew up in a family that followed traditional murti-puja and other practices. However, he changed his belief system after coming in contact with his friend Shri Bhavesh Merja who has a profound knowledge of Vedas. Upon his friend’s guidance, he began to read Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati’s Jivan Chartra. He was so mesmerized by the teachings that he completed readying the book in 2 days. Since then he has been following the principles laid out in the book and doing Brahma Sandhya as taught by Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati. Since then his journey began and has continued into the teachings of the Vedas and he has completed Darshan Yoga Mahavidyalaya, Rozad, Sabarkantha. Mukund Panchal ji served as a pandit at the Arya Samaj in Chicagoland for several years and is regularly sought out by members of the community to conduct havan and mantras at different occasions. He conducts daily havan and sandhya in his normal life.
